Wood pellet fuel plants are usually designed in 3 to 3.5-ton
per hour increments, depending on whether soft, or hardwood raw materials are used. We can design your raw
material receiving and in-feed systems as well, packaging systems and other components, briefly described in photos
below; click on photos for related websites.
Munch Pellet Mills
Munch dual-motor, belt-driven, ring die pellet mills, and accompanying dosing augers and coolers, are designed for
long-term operation, affording high production outuput at lower maintenance than most other commercial pelleting systems.
Munch pellet mills are used worldwide in a variety of pelleting operations!
B&C Model CV-3025
Wood pellets are usually packaged in 40-pound (18kg)
poly bags, and the most cost-efficient system for this is the B&C Model CV-3025, with side-gusset bag design feature,
affording 1,200 bags/hour, with minimal operator attention and machine maintenance.
Onix Rotary Dryers
Most "green" wood waste contains 30-50% moisture; therefore, needs to be dried to less than 10% moisture before the pelleting
process. Construction Management will assess your available raw material and, with assistance of Onix Corporation, custom
design a drying system for your pellet operations.
AUTOMATIC PALLETIZING
Either conventional layer-forming or robotic palletizing and pallet wrapping or stretch
hooding systems can be integrated with the packaging system.
